Let the user say, "Oh wow, what a comfort," and the company laugh, saying, "Sales have increased, brand image has risen"—the thing that blends these two is UX Strategy. In this article, we will discuss ways to establish a long-term "user experience strategy" by blending business goals, user expectations, and competitor analysis.

User Experience Analysis – User Feedback and Competitor Benchmark

Asking the question “Where am I?” without addressing “Where will I go?” remains a luxury. If user feedback states “The form is too complicated,” and a competitor has a situation where “It’s sorted out quickly,” a clear “strategy axis” can be derived from this. Setting numerical targets such as “satisfaction score,” and “conversion rate” as KPIs is also sensible at this stage.

Goal Setting and Roadmap for Long-Term UX Strategy

Without a clear goal like “We will increase the user satisfaction score from 70% to 85%,” saying “Let’s do better” can be as meaningless as looking at clouds and making predictions. With a roadmap, break down this goal into monthly or quarterly steps: “This month revise the form, next month mobile improvement, the following month prototype testing of the new feature…” This way, you will be both measurable and trackable.

Implementing the UX Strategy – Internal Communication and Data-Driven Design

There’s no stepping back after writing the strategy with great enthusiasm and saying “That’s it!” Regular meetings should focus on “Are we getting closer to the goal, is there any deviation?” Data analysis answers the question at this point, “How effective has each improvement been?” Did a competitor make a move, or did a user raise a new complaint? You can maintain your course with small pivots.

The design is like a joke.

If you have to explain it,

it's bad.
